Sunday Morning Programs
Sunday programs are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Sunday, followed by coffee hour. Children’s classes are at the same time. Dress is informal.

Services include a half hour of singing, instrumental music, readings, meditation or children’s stories, followed by an hour-long program. Programs are frequently attended by outside visitors because many feature professors and experts on social justice topics such as the death penalty, water rights and environmental concerns, domestic violence, civil rights history and civil liberties. Other services feature visiting ministers, discussions of UU theology and history, or spiritual exploration of topics such as forgiveness, our mothers and fathers, compassion and loving kindness, and earth-based philosophies.

Monthly Potlucks
On the first Sunday of each month, there is a potluck brunch or dinner. Participants bring a dish to share and their own table service.

Religious Exploration
The Fellowship has a Sunday morning program for children from pre-school through age 15. Child care is provided for infants if advance notice is given. Children pre-school through age 11 meet with the adults from 10:00 - 10:15 a.m. and then participate in Religious Exploration activities until 11:30. Youth 12 years old and up are welcome at Youth Group activities. Their program is developed from a variety of sources that they help select. Parents are invited to participate in choosing and teaching programs.

Choir and Special Music
Everyone is welcome to join the choir or to play special music for services or social events. The UU hymnal uses familiar tunes with words appropriate for liberal, socially conscious beliefs.

Covenant and Adult Discussions
These groups provide an opportunity for interaction on a close personal level. Groups are small allowing participants time to hear one another and develop loving and trusting relationships. They discuss the spiritual, ethical and moral side of life. Groups are led by volunteers and meet from every Sunday morning to once a month. Details are in the newsletter calendar.

Committees
A variety of committees allow members to be actively involved in the life of the Fellowship and in activities that further UU goals in the community and the world. Contact the Fellowship for more information on Committees and how to be a volunteer.

Wedding Ceremonies
Ceremonies are performed at the Fellowship or in other locations by the Fellowship’s president or other state licensed members. Commitment ceremonies are also available. For more information, contact one of the ministers listed below.

Social Activities
Social activities are important to the life of the fellowship. Monthly potlucks are held at the meetinghouse. Members host Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve parties at their homes. We have the following regular activities:

• Dinner for Eight Potluck Dinners. These are held in members’ homes and provide an opportunity for enjoying recipes and getting to know other Fellowship members better.
• Tar Hollow Group Weekend. Every year, the Fellowship rents the Tar Hollow State Park group camp for the third weekend in May. Members and friends from the community spend the weekend hiking, birding, canoeing and relaxing. Cost is about $30 for adults plus a requirement for both adults and children to preform one task of group work.

Memorial Society (Simple Burial)
This society helps families and friends care for its members when they die. Cremation arrangements are made in accordance with the instructions that members specify prior to their deaths.
